Leclaire's Muhle in Holzminden

Very nice hotel. Would have loved to take the bed with me! Unfortunately the restaurant is closed due to Corona. Would have liked to have eaten for dinner. The next time!

Food was delicious and I got full too. There is no card payment there. I would go again if in the area.

We were there at 9:30 p.m. Then we were told by the boss (or whatever that was) that she didn't know whether the cook was still preparing the food for us. One and a half hours before the end !!!!!. Pure unfriendly. The food was bland and in the end she wanted to pocket the 10 euro change. She said tip or night surcharge. For what kind of service please? We were so happy, but that was probably nothing with the wedding anniversary dinner. Never again ... A shame because the location is beautiful!

The food (Hungarian steak) is well seasoned, has a mild heat and the cooking point was perfect. The restaurant was very well attended and almost fully booked. Even so, the meal was served after thirty minutes. The friendly wait staff pointed out the waiting time when we ordered and asked the kitchen again beforehand. The menu is varied and home-style. In addition to the soup, the currywurst, schnitzel and steaks to the children's menu, guests will also find salads. Leclaire's Mühle has always been worth a visit since 1977, after all, the bar once had the longest bar in Holzminden.

Simply a great experience to be a guest at Ms. Leclaire 😁 very friendly and nice service and a journey through time. The food was very tasty 👍

I can't recommend it. Waited 2 hours for the food. French fries were lukewarm, hard and greasy (must have been in the deep fryer several times). You couldn't even spear them with a fork. Meat (pork tenderloin) was ok, Coca Cola without carbon dioxide and the salad was a Ready-to-use salad, everything done very carelessly. I am a cook myself, so I can judge the food well. Boss was nice but not open to criticism. The restaurant is getting on in years. Only the schnitzel should be good.

About ambience, service and food rather in the style of a village pub. I would have expected a different level with this name. But since we were there as a group, we still had a lot of fun. If the operation had been more attentive, it could have been done even more.
